Well, I'm not the kind to live in the past
The years run too short and the days too fast
The things you lean on
Are the things that don't last
- Al Stewart
Once again I am reminded how life is fragile, fleeting, and so very, very precious.
Seize the day. Live each day as if it were your last. Tell those you love how much you love them.

Well then let me take this opportunity to tell you how much I enjoy reading your blog. It has been an honor to peak into your world. You are a good man and my life is enriched by having you in it.

And when will your blog be returning, edieraye?
I miss it. I really do.

I could write a silly poem
'bout the xylem and the phloem
The birds, the bees
And stinky French cheese
But no poem I create
Could ever be as great
As what I feel all through:
Sweet Allan, I love you.

No one has ever written me a poem before. :D
I love you, too, Alison.

Hi, Allan. I'm so sorry to hear about this, and I'd just like to thank you for being lovely.

*hug*
I can't wait to meet you both this summer!
We're all so very blessed that RP has been a crossroads where our lives have intersected.

Such a sad day. As you say allan, it makes you appreciate life all the more. Shout out to the ones you love. Make it known. Life is a fleeting gift. Enjoy each moment.

I have not been around for a while and wow...this hurts.

Thank you! I'll be back sometime. In addition to exploring my blog hosting options, I have another web project that needs a little TLC at the moment. But it is good to be missed!

I read this one yesterday too but got lost in the link you provided. What a wonderful tribute to that man. Yesterday was the 5 year anniversary of my sister's death so this post was sort of timely. I remember having to share news of my sisters' passing with people I didn't know, whom she had befriended online. It was excruciating for me and for them.
I love public radio and have many bookmarked favs. Thanks for sharing this because now I have another radio link to enjoy :-)
I am so sorry about your friend though, even knowing he was just a cyber friend. The value in that is no less important.
