This is a small collection of sea glass that I received as a gift from Alison some time back. She sent it along with a small glass jar in which to display it.
It sits atop the lower sash of my kitchen window, where the glass catches the rays of the morning sun.
She collected the sea glass at a place she calls Treasure Beach, near where she used to live in France.
When I visited her in April of this year, she picked me up at the train station in that town, and as a surprise, took me to Treasure Beach. We sat on the sloping sea wall and ate a picnic lunch she had prepared.
After we finished eating we walked down the beach for a bit, and we both found a piece of glass.
As my little jar of treasures sits just above the kitchen sink, I see it throughout the day. It reminds me of the lovely day at Treasure Beach, and reminds me of my greatest treasure.
Alison.

The sea glass is beautiful, and so are your love stories.

This is a beautiful sharing of the love you have for each other.
(And thanks for adding me in to the family.)
