It was delicious...

Margaret

Non, merci, je n'aime pas le champagne.

Steph

Looks good...as long as no fish eggs were killed in the making of this picture...

I meant to tell you about this already, but I keep forgetting. I was recently at Whole Foods and talked with the wine specialist there. He's absolutely amazing and has never steered me wrong. He was telling me that not long ago, the vineyards that supply Dom and others of the like decided that they could use their own grapes to make a champagne with the same or better quality as the big names for 1/3 the cost. I can't remember the name of the champagne, but I'm getting ready to go buy some and was going to check in with him. I'll let you know the name of it when I have it in my hot little hands. I think it was about $40 bucks a bottle. Quite the savings!

Susan

I have never had Dom, but I hope I get to taste it before I die.

Daisy

I'm ashamed to admit that I tasted it at a function in Belgium but it was totally wasted on me as an almost teetotaller. I can still remember the look of horror on the waiter's face when I asked to mix it with orange juice... *

*joke!

Anne

Thanks for the picture. I hope that it won't be the only contact with a bottle of Dom in my lifetime. Probably with a 1993 bottle though!
