- ready to go home.
- not ready to go home.
- wanting to take Alison home with me. Now.
- missing the conveniences available there but not here.
- missing my "good" computer.
- wanting to get home to buy a Mac.
- dreading the long trip home tomorrow.
- missing my sister.
- missing Tonks.
- missing going to UK basketball games.
- longing to share life with Alison there as well as here.
- ready to go home.
- not ready to go home.
- thankful I have two homes to share with Alison.
- lucky to have Alison in my life.
- so in love with Alison.
- fortunate to be able to see the world through her eyes.
- happy to be able to show her the world through my eyes.
- ready to go home.
- not ready to go home.

Sounds like you're having a wonderful time but definitely ready to be back home. Too bad you can't bring Alison with you. :(

So, I see you're sitting on the fence regarding how you feel about Alison. Sad, really.

You write poetry too, Alan! I relate to those pulled apart feelings, although for different reasons. And I have my own Alison--I think it's a wonderful name. I chose the name because every student I have ever had with that name has been lovely. Teachers have some bad name associations, so we can get pretty limited.

So basically....you're conflicted?
Posted by: Karan | January 03, 2006 at 21:36
I'm confused. Aren't you two moving in together? Isn't she moving back to the states any day now?
Seriously, you guys have to stop confusing me. It's hard enough keeping up with all the air travel etc. lol ;)

Carrie, I'm moving back to the States in February. :)
I can't wait.

nicely put, Allan. you make confusion seem so logical.
. . . and about the Mac, I love mine.

LOL Thanks Alison! :)
Allan, don't be all stressed. It's only a matter of time now :)

A Mac?
Macs are only for people who are too stooopid to use a pc.
That's why I have one.

I know the conflicted feelings all too well, my friend. I'm dealing with some myself at the moment.
