Nigella Lawson is coming to the Food Network! Following several years on the Style Network, her new show, Nigella Feasts will debut October 1st.
I have no idea why the Food Network didn't sign her way back when, but they didn't, and her show Nigella Bites wound up on Style. I don't think there were more than a half dozen episodes of the show that went into perpetual reruns on that network. It still airs there, at 7 in the morning, despite beginning as a prime time show.
The Food Network has already scheduled 13 episodes of the new show, which will air at 1 p.m. A new episode will premier once a week, with frequent reruns during the week.

If those idiots aren't going to draft Alison, then they made a good choice. But, I am extremely loyal to my favorite French chef. I mean, have you ever had English food before? Blood pudding? yuck. Give me a great cous cous and a tiara anytime. But, I am gratefull to you for your accurate and insightfull reporting, again!

That's an OLD picture of her. I thought she was already on the Food Network...was she at one time and then taken off?

It's only moments like this when I wish I had the Food Network. :( Sadness.

Is it me, or is that shirt just a wee bit profane? It's like that "Milkbar" tshirt I had in high school.

I don't think I've ever heard of her; I hate to admit that!

I don't think we've had that show in the UK. I could be wrong though.

i LOVED the old show...where she was in her own kitchen whipping up things for her family. it was the first i'd ever seen of a cooking show on tv and i just thought it was really watchable. and i liked her. i couldn't figure out how rachel ray got something on the food network and this woman wasn't picked up for a show...weird.

LOVE her! And her utterly messy cooking style. And how she throws bits and pieces of everything in her freezer. And the fact that her pantry is in an entirely different part of the house. And her midnight snacks. In her jammies. It might not be love but it is a mighty big crush :)
