I've been awake since 6:15 this morning. I've always been an early riser. I'm usually good for only about 4 hours of sleep per night. But I was in bed by midnight last night.
A cold front blew through last evening, and dropped the temperature to about 50ยบ overnight. That's a good thing, as I always sleep better when there is a chill in the air.
Ali was already up this morning. She was awakened by a phone call at 5. I sent her back to bed. She isn't used to such early hours.
I really don't mind waking so early. It allows me to be the first person to arrive for The Morning Meeting. The CEO always has something interesting to say. I highly recommend you try to attend.
It's time for me to grab a fresh cup of coffee and watch the cat chase a toy mouse around the living room.
Have a great day!

You too! It's getting cooler here as well.

Our cat doesn't play with toys - with one exception. We bought him a laser pointer several months ago and he loves it. He knows that we're making all the decisions for this dot on the floor and up the walls, but loves it in spite of us.

That's a morning meeting I can stay awake through.

I am 15 minutes away from leaving for work at 6:15. I don't mind being up that early if I am in my robe with a cup of espresso, and my newspaper. Sigh.
