Yes, that's her name. It seems to fit, odly enough, and she responds to it better than she did Charlie.

Her recovery from her spaying is progressing well. It will be a week on Monday. The sutures come out in another week.

Little Charlie

I took the little girl to the vet yesterday and got her checked out. She tested negative for all the things that could kill her.

The vet says she is 4 months old based on her dentition, despite being so tiny that everyone thought she was half that age.

We're still not sure whether we will keep her.

Lost

We were leaving the Drinking Liberally Lexington meeting at Charlie Brown's last night when we found this stray kitten on the patio of the bar.

It was already pretty cold out, and not going to get any warmer. The kitten appeared to be hungry. We couldn't leave it alone, so we brought her home with us.

She ate voraciously, and settled down in a cat carrier with a towel to sleep on. We kept her in the upstairs bathroom with a litter box, some food and some water. She did just fine over over night.

The other three cats are still trying to figure out what has changed in their world.

I don't know if we will be able to keep her or not, but at least she didn't die all alone out in the cold last night.
