I took this a week or so ago. We had grilled dinner, and eaten it out on the patio with some good friends. We stayed out way after dark, necessitating the lighting. The lights are by IKEA. I'm not sure where the wine came from, but I suspect it was purchased at Wine + Market in downtown Lex Vegas.

A summer view of this scene. You can see a few other photos I took in Pennsyltucky this past weekend on my Flickr stream.
And the title is just a musical reference. Don't read anything else into it.
The future is bright. Alison and I are very fortunate.
This is a photo of cherries on the little tree in our front yard.
As I mentioned in the previous post about it, Mike told me that he wasn't sure it would bloom its first season, but it did. And it is now covered in fruit. Not enough fruit to make a pie, which is what these tart cherries would be good for.
But as fast as the tree is growing (It's grown over a foot since we planted it in August), perhaps we will be able to bake a pie next summer.
I think Jo Ann would be pleased.
Took this Friday night at the Little Kentucky Derby Balloon Glow.
All of the participants in the next day's hot air balloon races inflated their balloons and displayed them until after sunset for the enjoyment of the public.
The fire engine was a bonus.
Apparently the balloons did not race on Saturday due to the weather, so I am glad I got to see them the night before.
There are a couple of more shots from the event on my Flickr photostream.
I was looking on a DVD for another older photo to try a crop on when I ran across this one taken about the same time.
I don't know why I didn't post this back in September.

I discovered this plant hidden away in a shady area off the main path through the gardens of the Lexington-Fayette County Arboretum yesterday.
There is another photo of a fully opened bloom on my photostream.
